Tomorrow Ilona turns three months old (today she is 13 weeks). In the past few weeks she has started to talk a great deal more, and has added G, and occasionally L and B to her repertoire of sounds. She can pull her clothes to her mouth and sometimes plays with her binkie by popping it in and out of her mouth, a skill she picked up from her cousin Marin.
Ilona still prefers people and looking at faces, but she has started to enjoy her playmat and looking at toys. She still loves The Very Hungry Caterpillar but can focus in on other books better than before. Most nights she sleeps for 9 or ten hours, getting up once or at most twice to eat. She still prefers to catnap rather than take substantive naps during the day.
Ilona has grown out of all her newborn and most of her 0-3month clothes, mostly because she is too long for them!
Overall she is a happy, very alert baby who loves being social. Happy three months sweetie!
